About the Opportunity
Working with Savills’ Asset Management team in Adelaide, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and successful unit as an Assistant Operations Manager. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will be based on site at a large retail/mixed use complex in the CBD, supporting the Facilities Management team by providing technical expertise and ensuring Savills’ resources deliver outstanding on-site outcomes for clients and the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee repair, maintenance, and compliance of building services, including fire systems, mechanical, and energy management systems.
- Manage and liaise with service contractors to ensure quality servicing, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues promptly, ensuring safe and efficient system performance.
- Ensure adherence to legislative requirements, safety protocols, and essential service documentation.
- Maintain and update quality systems to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Assist with CAPEX projects, tenancy fit-outs/defits, and manage invoices and purchase orders.
- Identify and address potential hazards or equipment failures to minimize liability and ensure public safety.

- Previous experience within facilities or property management ideal
- Trade background with an interest in facilities management will also be considered
- Experience dealing with contractors beneficial
