Why This Role Matters
We are seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to lead the financial planning, forecasting and performance management function of the business. This is a senior finance leadership role, partnering closely with the CFO and Executive team to provide high‑quality commercial insight, strategic analysis and decision support.
The role has been newly created following a restructure of the finance leadership model, separating forward‑looking FP&A from financial control. Statutory reporting, compliance and audit responsibilities sit with the Head of Finance, allowing this role to focus squarely on value‑adding analysis and performance.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the FP&A agenda, influence strategic decision‑making, and play a critical role in the organisation’s future direction. It is well suited to a high‑calibre FP&A leader seeking breadth, visibility and a pathway to broader finance leadership.
What You’ll be Doing
- Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecast and long‑range planning processes
- Deliver high‑quality performance reporting, insights and recommendations to the Executive team and Board
- Provide scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and business cases to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
- Partner with business leaders to drive commercial performance, cost discipline and accountability
- Own FP&A frameworks, KPIs and management reporting standards
- Lead and develop the FP&A team and analytics capability
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, forecasting accuracy and decision support
What You’ll Bring
You are a commercially minded finance leader with strong FP&A credentials and executive presence. You are comfortable operating at senior leadership level, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insight.
- CA / CPA qualification (MBA or equivalent desirable)
- Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance or corporate finance at a senior level
- Proven leadership experience managing FP&A teams and complex planning processes
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability
- Experience partnering with executives and presenting to senior stakeholders or boards
- Background in complex, fast‑paced or growth‑oriented environments (listed, PE‑backed or large private organisations desirable)
