Why This Role Matters

The Administration & Marketing Manager is a key support to the Centre Manager and plays an integral role in the day-to-day success of Nambour Plaza. As a maternity leave cover position, this role is critical to ensuring continuity across centre operations, retailer engagement, financial administration, and marketing activities. Combining administration, finance, customer service, and marketing responsibilities, the role helps ensure the centre operates efficiently while delivering a positive experience for both retailers and customers. Through strong operational support and local marketing initiatives, the successful candidate will contribute to the centre's performance, community presence, and ongoing success throughout the cover period.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day operations of Nambour Plaza.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, contractors, and on-site stakeholders.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, rent collection, and arrears administration.
  • Coordinating lease administration and maintaining accurate centre records and key registers.
  • Raising work orders and purchase orders, assisting with budget management, and preparing financial reports.
  • Managing reception and general office administration activities.
  • Collating monthly sales data and preparing reports within required timeframes.
  • Coordinating Casual Leasing activities, including sourcing clients, managing bookings, processing payments, and overseeing site operations.
  • Supporting centre marketing initiatives through social media management, website updates, budget reconciliation, and performance reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous administration experience within real estate, preferably retail property.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage competing priorities.
  • Professional, reliable, and confident in building relationships with retailers and stakeholders.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • MRI experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Marketing and social media experience will be highly regarded.
