About the Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a Property Accountant to join our growing success on a 12 month contract and become a part of a vibrant working environment. Working within the dynamic Asset Management team in Melbourne CBD, this role will allow you to showcase your existing skills and further develop your career with a great company.  

Key responsibilities will include;

• Provide month end reports to client, including preparation of accruals, prepayments, and variance commentaries
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with the property and asset managers in answering queries and other requests\
• Preparation of Bank Reconciliations for review
• Process Lease maintenance requests
• Processing of Rent up and raising of ad hoc invoices
• Assist and perform ad hoc client reporting requirements

 What Sets You Apart 

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Prior experience in the Property industry highly regarded
• Experience across both cash and accrual accounting essential
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Must be able to work independently with excellent time management skills
• Working knowledge in using MRI is highly desirable
