About the Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a full time Facilities Manager to join our team in a vibrant shopping centre environment. Working within the dynamic North City team, this role will allow you to showcase your existing skills and further develop your career with a great company.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Facilities Manager to join our dynamic Centre Management team at North City Shopping Centre, Porirua. You will be a key team member working alongside the Centre Manager, with a focus on the day-to-day operations of the facilities, to ensure we deliver an exceptional experience for our customers and retailers.

If you are looking to sharpen your existing Facilities Management skills with potential for significant career growth within a national property service provider, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Supervising and monitoring all operations and maintenance of the property
  • Ability to be hands on in regards to non-trade specific tasks
  • Familiarity and monitoring of correct operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, fire services and other systems and equipment including; electrical switch gear, chiller plan, air conditioning, lighting schedules and security systems
  • Liaising with tenant and service contractors
  • Compliance with the relevant legislation and organisational processes
  • Enhancement of the management and performance of the property
  • Reporting and documentation in line with client and organisational procedures
