About the Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a full time Site Supervisor to join our growing success in South Australia and become part of Savills Projects team. This leadership role will allow an experienced Site Supervisor to showcase their skills and further develop their construction career with a great company.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Manage all on site construction project activities to ensure that the project’s objectives are met
• Liaise with Clients, consultants, subcontractors, trades persons on site & public in conjunction with the staff allocated to the project
• Manage on site subcontractors including site resources against project program and initiate corrective action where required
• Assist in the preparation of programs for the design, construction and general delivery of projects
• Manage Quality, Safety & Environmental on site
• Manage the handover of the works including defect rectification and operational training where appropriate
• Attend client meetings and Conduct subcontractor meetings as required for the effective delivery of projects
• Provide leadership to the internal and external project team to effectively deliver projects.

What Sets You Apart 

• Building and Construction Management qualification or construction industry experience in carpentry or a construction related discipline
• Demonstrated project experience from site establishment through to practical completion, in commercial construction including - retail, multi-storey residential, office, industrial & fit-out sectors will be viewed favourably
• Excellent communication skills; written, listening and verbal, including Microsoft office & project, Procore and Rapid Induct/site inductions
• You are organised with good attention to detail, focussed and have the ability to manage subcontractors and site labour on a daily basis
• Have a sound knowledge of Building Code of Australia, Construction Industry standards & OHS compliance
• Have a sound understanding of building methodologies & co-ordination of on site works
• Be well presented and have a positive attitude
• Hold a valid construction Industry white card & Australian Drivers Licence
