About the Opportunity
Due to business growth, a unique opportunity exists for a full time Assistant Facilities Manager to join Savills South Australian Asset Management team, based in Adelaide CBD. Working across a portfolio of retail and office buildings, this role will see you grow and develop your skills within Facilities Management, under the mentorship of an experienced Facilities Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure contractor compliance on managed sites with induction processes and WHS requirements
- In conjunction with the Facilities Manager, monitor repairs and maintenance against set outgoings budgets with Property Manager approval
- Ensure that tenants’ requests are attended to and addressed in a timely manner
- Assist the Facilities Manager in completing Facility Management reports as required and agreed with the Property Manager
- Participate in site specific audit programs, ensuring identified risks are closed out in a timely manner
- Conduct property inspections
- Assist with arranging maintenance requests and quotes while providing recommendations
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the property presentation in accordance with client’s requirements
- Help identify opportunities for the project management of capital works across the portfolio and work with the Property Manager as required on life cycle management
- Undertake tasks/issues on behalf of Management as and when they arise, and assist other team members when and if necessary
What Sets You Apart
- Previous experience within Facilities or Property Management ideal
- Trade background with an interest in Facilities Management will also be considered
- Experience dealing with contractors beneficial
