About the Opportunity

Due to growth within the business, Savills are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Asset Management team in Victoria. Working as part of this supportive and growing team, you will be responsible for the facilities management of a prime retail asset in Melbourne’s CBD. Based at the site and reporting to the State Director, this role will suit a Facilities Manager ready for their next challenge and eager to continue honing their skillset.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Supervise and monitor all operations and maintenance of the property
  • Familiarity and monitoring of correct operation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire services and other systems and equipment
  • Compliance with the relevant legislation and organisational processes
  • Participate in and manage site specific audits and risks reports 
  • Ensure work orders and purchase orders are closed out in a timely manner
  • Contractor management including tendering of services where applicable
  • Management of tenant work order maintenance requests
  • Provide clear and concise written recommendations on capital replacements or upgrades
  • Assisting the Property Manager to prepare the annual operating expense and capital expenditure budgets
  • Reporting and documentation in line with client and organisational procedures
