A rare opportunity exists for an HR Business Partner to join the growing National People and Culture Team, based in Savills Brisbane office. Reporting to the National HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing generalist support to the Australia and New Zealand business. This is an ideal opportunity to work for a prestigious global organisation and be part of a collaborative and close-knit People and Culture team.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders
  • Provide advice on the interpretation of Awards, policies and guidelines
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders on people related matters
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives/projects
  • Provide reports and analytics as required
  • Ensure HR data is accurate and reliable
  • Assist with the onboarding, induction, and training of new starters
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for senior hires
  • Support the performance and salary review processes across the business
  • Coordinate and roll out staff benefit and well-being initiatives
  • Assist with the administration of HR systems and process as required

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of generalist HR experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • High level administration experience
  • Experience in dealing with employee relation matters
  • Well organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels
  • The ability to influence, network, negotiate, counsel and mediate
