About the Opportunity

A unique opportunity exists for a full time Research Analyst to join our growing success and become a part of a vibrant working environment.

As part of the National Research team, this is an opportunity to showcase your previous experience and knowledge by enhancing our research capabilities across the business and its geographies, focusing on capital markets, office, industrial and retail sectors. Experience or interest in specialised and emerging asset classes and trends, including healthcare, life sciences and ESG, would be advantageous.

This exciting role will see you split your time between Savills Sydney CBD and Parramatta offices. 

Key responsibilities will include;

• Provide timely and authoritative research support to the divisions, compiling market research documents, presentations, reports and applying advanced report writing skills
• Maintaining research databases, including historical data and undertake other back-of-house research activities
• Liaising with internal clients to continuously update our data
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets and contribute to the forecasting process
• Provide detailed statistical/analytical and written research reports; convert findings to practical applications for internal and external clients
• Work as directed with senior team members on specific projects including client pitches, submissions, developing boutique research material and engaging ideas surrounding trends in the commercial property market
• Maintain up-to-date economic knowledge and apply an understanding of the influences these have on the property market

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a research role providing property, economics or related support
• Must be highly organised and able to manage competing tasks and deadlines
• Intermediate MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mind that can observe trends from research data
• Good written, presentation, data management and numerical skills are essential
• Able to work individually and as part of a team
• Thirst for knowledge and self-motivated
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
