About the Opportunity
A rare opportunity exists for an experienced National HR Manager to join the growing People and Development team. Reporting to the CEO, the National HR Manager will play a pivotal role in driving a People strategy aligned with ANZ business objectives. This is an ideal opportunity to work for a prestigious global organisation and be part of a collaborative and close-knit People and Development team. This opportunity will suit an energetic and passionate HR professional that is an exceptional communicator, that values developing relationships.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop and execute a people strategy for ANZ ensuring alignment wider business goals.
- Lead the Australian People & Development team to deliver all HR and Talent operations.
- Champion a new global Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and staff wellbeing.
- Collaborate with senior management to create a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee recruitment efforts across ANZ.
- Lead all aspects of talent management, including succession planning and talent development.
- Undertake regular HR Analytics reporting and present findings and trends to senior management.
- Manage escalated people related matters such as: disciplinaries, performance management, grievances, and complex employee relations issues.
What Sets You Apart
- Degree in HR, Business, Law, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of generalist HR experience
- 2+ years in a management position
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Well organised and able to balance multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines
- The ability to build and maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels
- The ability to influence, network, negotiate, counsel and mediate
