A unique opportunity exists for a full time Assistant Valuer to join our growing success and become a part of a vibrant working environment. Working within the friendly and dynamic Valuation & Advisory team, this role will allow you to showcase your existing skills and experience as an Assistant Valuer or recent Graduate.

The key responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Providing a variety of valuation and property consultancy services to a large number of clients, with a focus on banking and institutional clients within the accommodation hotel and pub sector
  • Assist in undertaking valuations for financial reporting, mortgage and acquisition purposes
  • Maintaining a comparable sales and trading benchmark database for all hospitality property
  • Preparation of regular hotel research marketing material
  • Meet valuation and project deadlines to ensure the highest standards of service
  • Maintaining an understanding of both local and national hospitality markets
  • Assist our team of specialised valuers based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide
  • Participate in the development of business relationships to provide services and identify business opportunities, including attending industry events

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Completed a Bachelor of Property Economics or similar and be a Certified Practising Valuer
  • A keen interest in property and be eager to learn
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • High level skills in Microsoft software packages
  • Exceptional organisational skills and professional presentation
  • Proactive work ethic and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and a good problem solver
