A unique opportunity to work from Savills brand new office at 45 Pirie Street, Adelaide in a strategic role. We are looking for an experienced full‑time Associate Director or Senior Property Manager looking to take the next step in their career. This role is critical to the performance of the department working closely with the State Director, Asset Management to drive team performance, assist with client relationships and growth of the business line of more than 35 professionals.  

Working within our dynamic and growing Asset Management team, you will manage a portfolio of retail shopping centre assets, overseeing performance, operating costs, reporting, and key property management timeframes with full time Facilities Management assistance. This role offers the chance to leverage your existing expertise while further developing your career within a supportive, high‑performing, and vibrant working environment.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of shopping centres to optimise operational performance.
  • Supporting asset management team leadership and day‑to‑day people management.
  • Assisting with strategic direction of the department including procedures and processes
  • Controlling asset operating costs in line with approved budgets.
  • Preparing and delivering budgets, business plans, and Owners’ Reports.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting, lease administration, income monitoring, and arrears management in line with client and internal requirements. 
  • Monitoring property management timeframes and critical dates across the portfolio.
  • Maintaining market pricing knowledge and awareness of relevant legislative changes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience gained in Property Management/Shopping Centre Management
  • A current Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
  • Experience with MRI, while not essential, is favourable   
  • Experience managing a small team is favourable
  • Administration and financial management skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Advanced client management skills
  • Be able to work with high volume process tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly organised and professional presentation
