This Communications Manager role is a key position within Savills’ national Marketing team, based in the Sydney CBD office and reporting to the Head of Marketing. The role is essential in shaping how Savills communicates with its clients, stakeholders, media, and employees. By delivering clear, consistent, and strategic messaging, this position strengthens Savills’ reputation, enhances brand visibility, and keeps our people informed. Working closely with marketing, leadership, and internal experts, the Communications Manager plays a critical part in supporting business goals, elevating thought leadership, and fostering meaningful engagement both internally and externally.
What You’ll be Doing
- Maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders and journalists to strengthen relationships and secure consistent media presence
- Monitoring property industry trends and positioning Savills as a proactive voice across priority media outlets
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to integrate and enhance communications to compliment broader campaigns
- Managing an internal and external communications calendar to support planned activity
- Overseeing and updating the Savills Intranet to ensure accurate and engaging content
- Creating, scheduling, and managing content across Savills’ social media channels to grow reach and impact
- Exploring and applying strategic communications tools, including social media, blogs, and thought leadership opportunities
- Editing and refining copy for marketing materials such as capability statements, submissions, and pitch documents
- Building and maintaining relationships with relevant industry bodies
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver communication initiatives that support employee engagement
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a communications role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Public Relations or Communications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail across all content and deliverables
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and the ability to use analytics to guide decision‑making
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience within real estate or professional services (highly regarded)
